Abstract
[Ni-2 (Medpt)(2)(mu -OX)(H2O)(2)](ClO4)(2)2H(2)O is one of the model substa nces of an S = 1 isolated dimer system. We have performed high-field ESR an d magnetization measurements on this material using pulsed magnetic fields up to 55 T. The observed ESR signals and the angular dependence of the crit ical fields were analyzed in terms of the S = 1 isolated dimer model includ ing the single-ion anisotropy term.
