Abstract
Magnetization and magnetoresistance of Nd0.45Sr0.55MnO3 have been measured in pulsed magnetic fields up to 45 T. Application of high magnetic held cau ses metamagnetic transitions below the Neel temperature T-N similar to 220 K. Temperature dependence of the resistivity under ferromagnetic state afte r the transition showed characteristics of a three-dimensional metal. The o bserved ferromagnetic transition and transport properties in the ferromagne tic state can be attributed to the collapse of planar orbital ordering by m agnetic field.
