The magnetoresistance and susceptibility of Sr2RuO4 were studied in magneti
c fields up to 33 T at 50 mK. The magnetoresistance exhibited notable aniso
tropy within the conducting plane, which we attribute to the non-uniform wa
rping of the Fermi surface. Superconductivity recurrence, predicted for mag
netic fields applied parallel to the conducting plane, was not detected up
