Abstract
We calculate exactly the average conductance coefficients of a ballistic ch aotic cavity coupled via tunnel barriers to an arbitrary number of reservoi rs. Explicit formulas are derived for several regimes of interest: ideal co ntacts, strongly overlapping resonances, locally weakly absorbing limit, eq uivalent channels, and equivalent terminals.
