Abstract
We consider the problem of the motion in the space of a mass particle under the gravity field of a massive finite straight segment. For this problem, we prove that every truncation of the expansion of the potential does not a dmit more meromorphic integrals than the Hamiltonian itself. (C) 2001 Elsev ier Science B.V.
