Does Skyrme model give a consistent description of hadrons?

The topological Skyrme model is known to give a successful description of b aryons. As a consistency check, here it is shown that in view of the recent discovery of charge quantization as an intrinsic and basic property of the Standard Model and the color dependence arising therein, the Skyrme Model is indeed completely consistent with the Standard Model.
