In this Note the vortex sensor signal is modeled as a narrow band process,
and the frequency of the vortex sensor signal is measured by the means of a
daptive notch filtering. A real time processing system based on a digital s
ignal processor is developed. The testing results show that the adaptive no
tch filtering method and the processing system are effective for vortex flo
