An unusual cause of calf pain

Popliteal artery entrapment syndrome is an unusual presentation of calf pai n to an accident and emergency department. We report the case of a 36-year- old man presenting with left calf pain and investigations confirmed the dia gnosis of popliteal artery entrapment syndrome. A&E doctors should consider this diagnosis in their differential diagnoses for calf pain in younger pa tients particularly when obvious trauma is absent.
