Abstract
The synthesis of a nanocomposite material obtained via the in-situ formatio n of ruthenium oxide nanoparticles on and between commercial lithium mangan ese oxide particles is reported. Electrochemical tests have shown that the synthesized nanocomposite material is characterized by a bicontinuous morph ology in which the solid phase and pore phase are continuous, interpenetrat ing and exhibit high electronic conductivity.
