Abstract
Upon irradiation through Pyrex with a xenon lamp (hv>300 nm), perfluoroalky
l iodides add to terminal allenes regioselectively to afford the correspond
ing iodoperfluoroalkylated products, where perfluoroalkyl and iodo groups a
re selectively introduced into the terminal and central carbons of allenes,
