Abstract
The efficient incorporation of reporter groups into oligonucleotides at spe cific sites has been facilitated by the synthesis of a novel modified thymi dine monomer with an FMOC-protected hydroxyl group on a linker. The primary hydroxyl group can be deprotected during or after solid-phase oligonucleot ide synthesis and reacted with any reporter phosphoramidite. (C) 2001 Elsev ier Science Ltd. All rights reserved.
