The green nanoparticles of silver in solution were prepared by a two - step
photochemical procedure, combining ultraviolet light and visible light irr
idiation, in the presence of the photoreducer, sodium citrate. There are th
ree resonance scattering peaks at 340 nm,470 nm and 520 nm and two absorpti
on peaks at 399.4 nm and 691.4 nm for the green silver nanoparticles. Based
on the facts of the formation of supramolecule in the substable state, the
mechanisms for the resonance scattering light and the supramolecular react
ion are proposed.
