Abstract
While patients with hypodontia of the permanent dentition constitute a rela tively small portion of the general population, a significant percentage of these patients will require orthodontic therapy. This is a case report in which the family opted to maintain the retained deciduous teeth rather than seek combined orthodontic-prosthodontic treatment.
