Abstract
A 22-year-old female patient with severe hypertension underwent both Techne tium-99m diethy lenetriaminepentaacetate and Technetium-99 m mercaptoacetyl triglycine basal and captopril renal scintigraphy. While no significant cha nge was seen with Tc-99m DTPA, there was left sided parenchymal retention o f captopril Tc-99m MAG3 suggesting renal artery stenosis which was confirme d by angiography.
