Abstract
Pseudoneureclipsis lusitanicus Malicky, 1980, is reported from a large trib utary of the Loire River, the first record of this genus and species from F rance. In Europe, this genus was previously known from Portugal. Larval and pupal characters suggest that the genus does not belong to the family Poly centropodidae, as currently classified.
