Abstract
The identity of Perlesta nitida is reviewed and demonstrated to be a valid species. The male is redescribed with an emphasis on internal genitalia, an d the egg stage is described for the first time. Morphological features dis tinguishing P. nitida from similar species are provided. New distributional records of additional Perlesta species are reported.
