Abstract
The data on the catalytic and cocatalytic activities of organomagnesiu m compounds in polymerization of dienes are reviewed. Some problems co ncerning the synthesis and state of these compounds in solutions and t heir use for preparing organometallic derivatives of a number of trans ition metals are considered.
