Abstract
Using non-denaturing isoelectric focusing in polyacrylamide vertical slab g el, we have purified to homogeneity three trimeric subcomplexes of LHC II f rom Arabidopsis thylakoid membranes. The polypeptide composition of the sub complexes were studied by immunoblotting. Our results indicate the existenc e in vivo of LHC II heterotrimers containing Lhcb1, Lhcb2 and Lhcb3 gene pr oducts.
