Abstract
Gyrodactylids are common parasites in Danish fish farms. In this study we h ave investigated the prevalence, abundance and mean intensity of the parasi tes of rainbow trout (Oncorhynchus mykiss). The species Gyrodactylus derjav ini, Gyrodactylus salaris and a Gyrodactylus salaris morphotype, were found . The overall prevalence was 93.3%, the abundance 142.1 and the mean intens ity 152.3.
