Abstract
Solvent extraction of Ni-II by phenolic oximes is enhanced significantly by addition of aliphatic diamines; octahedral [Ni(ii)(phenolate-oxime)(2)(dia mine)] complexes have been characterised that contain a novel folded confor mation, retaining intramolecular hydrogen bonding between the two oxime lig ands.
