Abstract
In many branches of industry solvent mixtures accumulate which are difficul t to recycle due to their water content. It is required that the water cont ained in the mixtures is reduced to such an extent that the mixtures can be separated into their components. In this paper, conventional dt watering t echnologies, such as adsorption and/or the use of entrainers, have been com pared with new methods, like the reactive conversion of water with special agents. It was found that the reactive conversion is an effective alternati ve to conventional processes.
