Abstract
A quasi-stationary determination method for the heat transfer coefficient i s described for spray cooling of surfaces heated to high temperatures using the advantages of thermography. The dependence on the main influence param eter the mass flux and on the velocity and characteristic diameter d(30) of the droplets is investigated. Both additional parameters are determined us ing a PDA system.
