Abstract
The results of the measurements of mass transfer coefficients for the physi cal (CO2/water) and chemical absorption (oxidation of benzaldehye) have bee n presented. The collected experimental data have been correlated with the energy dissipated in the system. High values of the mass transfer coefficie nts, k(L)a, of the order of 10(-1) s(-1) have been obtained.
