Abstract
Supersaturated aqueous solution of MgO . 2B(2)O(3)-H2O, Na2O . 5B(2)O(3)-H2 O and MgO . 3B(2)O(3)-H2O were prepared. Raman spectra of the solutions hav e been obtained. The results show that there exist various polyborate anion s: in the supersaturated aqueous solutions. The assignments of the recorded frequencies of the berate aqueous solution were given. The interaction mec hanism between polyborate ions in supersaturated solution was discussed.
