The method has been put forward to analyze the content of D-ribose obtained
from glucose zymotic fluid. D-ribose was determined by HPLC, on a Sugar Pa
k I column, by using. a refractive index detector and a mobile phase of pur
e water. We have also studied the separation conditions of sugars. It has m
any advantages, such as rapid analysis, high sensitivity and high precision
and good reproducibility. The recovery of D-ribose were 95.5%-104%, RSD we
re less than 1.5%, the detection limit of D-Ribose was 50 ng.
