Abstract
Over a 12 month period, we prospectively evaluated the use of an ambul atory infusion pump for intraarterial and intravenous chemotherapy in patients with colorectal liver metastases, In all, 274 separate infusi ons were given with minor complications occurring on six occasions. Ad ministering treatment on an outpatient basis rather than as an inpatie nt has resulted in savings of over pound 17 000 in the first year.
