Abstract
The influence of the phantom head on the required number of far-held measur ement locations for the determination of radiation characteristics of mobil e phones is examined at 1.8GHz using the spherical wave expansion technique . Results show that e.g. the total radiated power of mobile phones can be d etermined with about 50 measurement locations with an uncertainty of less t han 0.1dB.
