Abstract
A bidirectional WDM passive optical network based on the spectrum-slicing t echnique for both broadband switched services and digital broadcast video s ervices is demonstrated. This network is capable of providing a 155Mbit/s b aseband signal and 30 digital video signals to each subscriber. The upstrea m channels also operate at 155Mbit/s.
