A simple calibration scheme for correction of the path imbalance in a LINC
transmitter is presented. Bq properly exchanging two LINC vector components
and controlling a downconversion loop. the gain and phase imbalance are ch
aracterised bq the baseband DSP/SCS. The error effects of the imbalance are
compensated bq introducing a pre-distortion term. Simulation results demon
strate that this scheme is sufficient to suppress the out-of-hand spectrum
for wireless communications.
