Abstract
Published records of the six pyrgodesmid millipeds in the United States are summarized and new ones are provided in detail. Poratia obliterata is newl y recorded from the country along with the following new state records: Cal yptodesmus sanctus from Alabama and Myrmecodesmus digitatus from Mississipp i. A key and pertinent illustrations are provided to facilitate identificat ions.
