Abstract
The nevus flammeus or port wine stain (PWS) is a vascular malformation whic h mainly involves the skin. For the patient, treatment must be as good as c osmetic camouflage and provide perfect symmetry in color, contour, texture, and movement. Therapeutic approaches are discussed and results, including statistics, are presented.
