Abstract
We analyze the electromagnetic form factors of the ground state baryon octe t to fourth order in relativistic baryon chiral perturbation theory. Predic tions for the Sigma (-) charge radius and the il-Co transition moment are f ound to be in excellent agreement with the available experimental informati on. Furthermore, the convergence behavior of the hyperon charge radii is sh own to be more than satisfactory.
