Abstract
Time integrated X-ray emission images at an energy range of 1.8-3.6 ke V were obtained to evaluate laser irradiation nonuniformity on fusion pellets. The experimental results were analyzed with a simple illumina tion calculation. A positive correlation was found between the nonunif ormity obtained from the measured X-ray emission intensity and that fr om the calculated laser irradiation intensity, although the absolute v alues of the nonuniformities are discrepant.
