Abstract
Conducting polymer bilayers containing polypyrrole/sulfosalicylic acid (SSA ) as inner film and poly(N-methyl pyrrole)/polystyrene sulfonic acid (PSS) or PANI/PSS (PANI: polyaniline) as outer films were prepared by electrochem ical methods. The controlled releasing of SSA from inner film was carried o ut by applying cathodic potential. The amount of SSA released has been inve stigated by UV spectrophotometry. SSA was reincorporated to inner film by a pplying anodic potential, then releasing of SSA has been performed at the a bove conditions. The controlled releasing of SSA From monolayer PANI was al so studied. (C) 2001 Elsevier Science Ltd. All rights reserved.
