Abstract
We report herein a reliable synthesis of P(OCH2)(3)P in a stud aimed at und erstanding the factors that control its formation. We also report the seren dipitous synthesis of the novel phosphiranol (CH2)(2)PO2H and the synthesis of P(PhNCH2)(3)P in good yield. (C) 2001 John Wiley & Sons, Inc.
