A new electronic design for continuous motional series resonant frequency m
onitoring of loaded quarto crystal resonators is presented. Using this circ
uit, a low-cost method for a simple determination of equivalent circuit par
ameters of quartz crystal resonators is described. Measurements made with t
he proposed system on typical AT cut quarto crystals are in good agreement
with those of an Impedance Analyzer.
