2)OH (RE = Ce-Nd), where L is the corresponding Schiff base macrocyclic lig
and. All the complexes have been characterized by elemental analyses. IR sp
ectra, TG-DTA and molar conductance measurements. The light rare earth ions
have been found to be affective as templates for the synthesis of the 22-m
embered Schiff base macrocycle.
