Abstract
The structure of metallized capacitors is complex and the sizes of the constituting elements are dissimilar. Consequently, direct computatio n of fields and current densities is impossible. In this paper, we giv e some macroscopic properties (impedances, admittances) of the capacit or winding, obtained thanks to an homogenization method. These propert ies are helpful to compute the current and heating distribution in cap acitors.
