Abstract
The synthesis of an isotopically-labeled, diphenoxypyridine factor Xa inhib itor, 3-[[6-[3-(4,5-dihydro-1-(C-13)-methyl-1H-(4-C-13, N-15(2)-imidazol-2- yl)phenoxy)-3,5-difluoro-4-(4-morpholinyl)-2-pyridinyl]oxy]-4-hydroxybenzen e-C-13-carbox-N-15-imid-N-15-amide, is reported for use in factor Xa bindin g studies using REDOR NMR. N-benzyl protected tetralabeled N-methylethylene diamine was an intermediate in the preparation of 3-[4,5-1-(C-13)-methyl-1 H-(4-C-13, N-15(2)-imidazol-2-yl)]phenol.
