Abstract
The one-dimensional reaction diffusion process AA --> A and A empty set A - -> AAA is exactly solvable through the empty interval method if the diffusi on rate equals the coagulation rate. Independently of the particle producti on rate, the model is always in the universality class of diffusion-annihil ation. This allows us to check analytically the universality of finite-size scaling in a non-equilibrium critical point.
