Abstract
A model describing the effect of oxygen partial pressure on non-stoichiomet ry, in both cation and oxygen sublattices of oxide perovskite-type material s, such as (La,Sr)MnO3. and related changes in Fermi energy level, is deriv ed. This model may be applied for evaluation of semiconducting properties o f these materials from data of the deviation from stoichiometry. (C) 2001 E lsevier Science Ltd. All rights reserved.
