We present a detailed comparison between experimental adsorption measuremen
ts and the excess adsorption predicted by the Ono -Kondo lattice model. The
study was performed for high-pressure adsorption of hydrogen above the cri
tical point on microporous adsorbents. The experimental adsorption isotherm
s of hydrogen on the activated carbon AX-21 as well as others are compared
with those of theory over the temperature range of 77-273 K and for pressur
es of up to 6 MPa.
