Abstract
Various organic polymeric materials-commercial and laboratory samples were subjected to laser beams in red and infrared range. The results of laser tr eatment were analyzed by SEM and light microscopy as well as by photoelasti city techniques. Special attention was paid to PMMA and its applications an d different fillers of Bakelite samples.
