Abstract
The pseudospectral time-domain (PSTD) algorithm is extended to model the el ectromagnetic scattering from bath 2-D and 3-D objects. The plane-wave exci tation and the time-domain near-far field transforms in the stretched coord inates are efficiently incorporated into the scattered-field PSTD algorithm . Numerical results demonstrate the effectiveness of the algorithm in wave- scattering problems. (C) 2001 John Wiley & Sons, Inc.
