Abstract
Two Concavinae occur in the Miocene of the Aquitaine Basin (France): Zulloc oncavus CARRIOL, 2000 (type species Z. miosensis CARRIOL, 2000) from the Mi ddle Miocene and Alessandriella n. gen. (type species A, saucatsensis n. sp .) from the Lower Miocene. This new genus possesses externally striate scut a, simple alar sutural edge, parietal tubes with transverse septa and sheat h with tubes.
