The structure of similar or equal to 300 even-even nuclei with Z between 10
4 and 340 is analyzed using the Hartree-Fock-Bogoliubov method with the Gog
ny force. Ground state properties shells closures, deformations and Q(alpha
) - and lifetimes against a-decay and fission are derived for nuclei in the
superheavy domain (104 < Z < 150). Hyperheavy nuclei (Z > 150) are found t
o exist in the form of bubbles or 'semi-bubbles', depending on their charge
and mass. A 'semi-bubble' structure is also found to be the ground state o
f (292)120, a superheavy nucleus, and of a few neighbouring nuclides.
