Abstract
Strange particle production in proton-beryllium, proton-lead and lead-lead interactions as measured by the WA97 experiment at the CERN SPS is presente d. Strangeness enhancement is observed to increase with the strangeness con tent of the particle, reaching a factor 15 for Omegas. Inverse slope system atics are shown, including data from other experiments.
