Abstract
We describe a patient with an incidental adrenal myelolipoma associate d with biochemical evidence of Cushing's syndrome who lacked the physi cal stigmata of cortisol excess (subclinical Gushing's syndrome). Path ologic examination revealed the presence of adrenocortical cells mixed with myelolipomatous tissue. Although cases of clinically evident Gus hing's syndrome due to adrenal myelolipomas have been reported previou sly, to our knowledge this is the first report associating adrenal mye lolipoma and subclinical Gushing's syndrome.
