Fine structure of alpha decay in odd nuclei - art. no. 034603

Using an alpha decay single-particle level scheme, the fine structure in od d nuclei is explained by taking into account the radial and rotational coup lings between the unpaired valence nucleon and the core of the decaying sys tem. It is shown that the experimental behavior of the alpha decay fine str ucture phenomenon is governed by the dynamical characteristics of the syste m.
