Temperature dependences of magnetic properties of compounds based on Sm2Fe1
7 and Y2Fe17 are shown to he determined hy thermal fluctuations of electron
spin density. The intra-atomic interaction of electrons leads to the appea
rance of local magnetic moments and to ferromagnetic ordering: simultaneous
ly, this interaction causes the high local spill susceptibility of d electr
ons. which favors the appearance las temperature increases) of strong spin
fluctuations lending to a decrease in the magnetization and transition into
a disordered paramagnetic state. Addition of atoms of nonmagnetic elements
(N, C, H, Al. Si) leads to a suppression of spin fluctuntions, which can s
ignificantly increase the Curie temperature of ternary compounds.
